Good afternoon,

My name is Melonie and I am 43 years of age and neurotic about my skincare regime. I currently make use of a totally organic product namely Trevarno. I have also started using the NuSkin Galvanic Machine once a week.

Perhaps you could advise a skincare regime for me with your products. I have an oily TPanel and suffer from dark circles under my eyes. How would your product compare to Trevarno (organic) or previous to that, Simplicite and even previous to that, RegimA. Are your products cosmeceutical or more natural and also do they contain Rose Oils.

Please advise and I look forward to your response.

Hi Melonie

Just to tell you a little bit about Nutriwomen products they are cosmeceutical, hence they have medicinal properties.

The products works in 3 ways.
A. It contains natural oil for skin conditioning. Those are ingredients such as wheat germ, olive butter, shea butter
B. The next layer are all the anti oxidants such as green tea, alpha lipoic acid, ginseng, vitamin C, bioflavanoids etc
C. Finally the peptides. They are stable actives that are able to penetrate deep layers of skin to activate collagen and elastin and renewel of skin

We do not use rose oils
We also do not use parabens, instead we use an organic preservative in the products.

I cannot make a direct comparison to any of those other brands because I have never done any comparative studies. However I can tell you that we use as much natural ingredients in our products as possible and we use very potent actives that have been under clinical trials at sederma in france.


I recommend for your skin type to use
Anti wrinkle eye lift. This is our eye cream that targets dark circles with eyeliss and haloxyl. Question: Lee Biffen 4th November

I would like to start using your range of face products, I'm 26 and looking to start using anti-aging products, is this too soon? I have a combination skin with large pores and spend a lot of time in the sun during summer with outdoor activities.

Hi Lee

It is absolutely not too early to start taking care of your skin at age 26 in order to prevent aging, However there are some of the products you def do not need at this stage unless you have very damaged skin.

With your type of skin I would recommend the following,

Skin perfect face wash and cleanse
Skin perfect toner
Anti age skin therapy
Hydropore when you are indoors or Sun perfect defense when outdoors.

All our new formulations are all paraben free but not the sun perfect defense, so if you have a favourite sun screen from another brand then carry on with that sun screen.

Question: Janet Walsh ; 1 october 09

Dear Larry,

I recently took two tablets of anti age skin therapy capsules as recommended. This is what occured I had very disturbed sleep then reverted to one a day.
I am hypo-thyroid and take 1.25 mg eltroxin a day.
When I take one capsule after breakfast, my throat burns and I get a headache for about half and hour.
Should I continue taking this product.?

Hi Janet

The anti age skin therapy capsule should not present any physical reaction at all such as interference with sleep or headaches. The capsule is made up entirely of anti-oxidants and should also not interfere with eltroxin.

It is possible that 1 in 10 000 people could have a reaction to any vitamin or anti oxidant ingredient. Even a simple thing such as vitamin C could present a problem and you could be allergic to it. So my suggestion is that you discontinue using the product, take it back to Dischem with your slip and they will refund you or exchange your product for another product. It seems like you are reacting to one of the ingredients although it is too difficult to know without doing extensive blood tests

I have been using the Nutriwomen Omega 3, 6 supplement and I am very impressed I have always had problems with irregular periods and bleeding constantly. I have also seen a vast improvement in my hair and skin texture. I have also been quite happy because I have not expierenced that horrible aftertaste which you get with other Omega supplements

I have now been using the product and my cycle and hormones have stabilized. When I went to the gynae he was impressed. Do you have any samples of the skin products, I would love to try it out.

I am interested in using the Nutriwomen 5 Day Detox mixture. Is it a must to also do the diet along with the detox mixture?

Answer:

The 5 day detox is very much more effective with the diet, however if following the diet is not possible then, I can suggest a modified version to help you with the detox. So drink the detox liquid 5 timers per day as prescribed.Drink the water, lemon juice and cayenne pepper as prescribed , however eat semi normally. So you can eat your regular lunch and dinner but consume just fruit at breakfast.

What will also help is if you can have 1 shot approx 5ml of wheatgrass juice every day and keep tea and coffee intake to a minimum ie not more than 1 cup per day for the full 5 days of the detox. Avoid alcohol and greasy food and refined sugar for the week and that should certainly be sufficient to get a worthwhile detox.

I am really impressed with these products and would like to start using the skin care products. I however would really like to start by going onto the 5 Day Detox diet and I have spent most of today searching for a branch that stocked this range.
They all had the skin care range but none stocked the 5 Day Detox.
